To: Ogre

Brian left the house in a mad rush on Friday about 30 minutes after getting home from work so he could get to the church on time for the scout over-nighter camporee and canoe trip.
When he got back late Saturday afternoon, the kids and I were out of the house running errands and getting ice cream at the corner store. Brian found an envelope on the computer keyboard address
To Ogre
From London an Baley
Brian opened up the envelope and found the crayon drawn picture inside. He called me on the cell phone to find out exactly how upset the kids were with him. I wanted to know why he thought they were upset. Brian told me about the envelope addressed To Ogre and thought he was the Ogre.
I had to explain that the girls were not the least upset with him and that he had opened a letter that was not addressed to him.
Bailey's little friend Audrey was over Saturday morning and drew the picture. She left it here and the girls wanted to make sure she got her picture back, so they put it in the envelope and addressed it to Ogre (Au-drey).

In Bailey's Words

I just love the phase that kids go through as they learn how to speak. Bailey has reached my favorite of those phases. She is at that nice in between stage where she is understandable, but still occasionally uses the wrong word, syllable, or sound.

Bailey's favorite drinks are hoda and cold hot chocolate. (soda and chocolate milk)
She is very good at following erections. (Directions)
" I will follow every erection mommy!"
She likes to sing, "If your happy with your nose clap your hands."(and you know it)

Newport

We went to the coast for the weekend. Beautiful drive there and back! The weather on the coast was overcast, windy and wet. We went to the Aquarium in Newport and the kids got to touch sting rays, sharks, & starfish. Bailey freaked out at the octopus. Emmalee was very cautious walking over the thick plexiglass floor with the water underneath. She took itsy bitsy steps and then leaped off of it onto the carpeted floor once it was near enough.

Spouting Bailey!!

Emmalee was very good at pointing everything out for us. She was finding the sea lions and seals.

After the Aquarium we went to the tide pools at the Yaquina Light House. We all got soaked from the rain!!!

Easter Weekend

Bailey lost her fight (tantrum) with the bed...
Took her to the ER to make sure she didn't break her eye socket.
Nice shiner!!!
We went to the High Desert Museum on Saturday to get out of the house. The girls had tons of fun on the spiders web.

Baby Scott enjoyed his first red vine...thanks to loving and sharing sisters.
Wow what a treat!!!

London's Birthday

Emmalee has had problems getting around the house this weekend. She has to keep the cannula on so we can give her Oxygen when she sleeps. We've tried to roll it up behind her, but it keeps coming undone. The cats chase her down. The dog lays down on top of the tubing. Mom, Dad and sisters keep stepping on it. And even baby Scott grabs it whenever she goes by. Poor Emmalee and her leash!!!

For the last six weeks we have been hearing serious and tearful disagreements about London's Birthday. The last two years her birthday has fallen on a Saturday (because of leap year.) This year its on a Sunday, and she has been fighting with us that we change her birthday and move it back to Saturday. I'm not kidding when I say she has Cried over this...well WAILED actually!!!
The big day finally arrived and it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be having her birthday on Sunday. She is wearing her new "Fancy Princess Dress", and a hand knit sweater from G-ma Dawn. We were very lucky to have Emmalee home from the hospital, and G-ma Kay up for a birthday visit!! London received several crafty presents that she is VERY excited about.

I can't find it.

This evening at dinner I mentioned that I heard a barking spider under London's chair. Bailey spent a good ten minutes looking for it. She was very determined to find it. Bailey really wanted to see that barking spider and was disappointed when she finally gave up with a big pout and cried,"I can't find it!"
